Sheila Marlow Due, a dedicated nonprofit leader with over 25 years of experience, is driven by a passionate commitment to fostering growth and long-term success in the sector. Her expertise spans higher education, social services, and the arts, and she excels at expanding organizations and improving performance, even in the face of challenges.
Sheila's strengths lie in identifying enhancement opportunities through operational and data-driven assessments, coupled with a relentless pursuit of new funding sources. Her ability to consistently surpass fundraising and operational targets speaks to her enduring dedication to creating a lasting impact.
As an inspirational leader, Sheila prioritizes trust-building among internal and external stakeholders while fostering a shared sense of purpose. Her leadership is characterized by a genuine commitment to recognizing and celebrating individual achievements.
Before joining MEF, Sheila spearheaded the strategic revival of the Alamo Colleges Foundation, elevating its influence, community role, and donor backing. Her leadership saw exceptional growth, as net assets surged from $25 million to $75 million between 2018 and 2021, marking a 200% increase. Sheila's transformative approach extended to board involvement, operational improvements, and the cultivation of a diverse and skilled team.
